MSI debuts stealthy WS65 workstation with Intel Core i9 chip

MSI has a new mobile workstation on the market, and it sports a flake of stealthy style. Chosen the WS65, the laptop looks to exist a footstep up from MSI'due south current WE63, consummate with a sleek black outside, copper accents, and the debut of MSI'south new workstation logo on the rear of the lid.

Equally for the what'due south powering the heavy workloads that workstations are designed to tackle, MSI has gone with Intel'southward 8th Gen Core i9 processor and up to NVIDIA Quadro P4200 graphics. That's backed up by an 82Whr battery that MSI claims can hit up to eight hours of bombardment life, along with PCI-e SSD and SATA philharmonic storage options. Unfortunately, MSI isn't talking exact storage capacities or RAM merely still.

Up front, you'll find a 15.6-inch FHD IPS brandish, which the company claims can striking 72 percent coverage of the NTSC colour gamut. Ports include three USB 3.1 Blazon-A ports, a single USB Blazon-C, i HDMI, and one mini Display Port.

The WS65 will be available this September, MSI says, but pricing is a mystery for now.

The company says its new Optix curved monitors, which feature 144Hz refresh rates and 1ms response times, are now available. Both models also work with MSI's Gaming On-Screen Display software, which yous can employ to control settings from your desktop.

The new Optix monitors are up for grabs in a 27-inch model for $299 or a 24-inch model for $229.
